As a Social Media and Email Designer at J.Jill, I excelled in translating marketing objectives into engaging visual narratives that drove customer engagement and sales. I would work closely with the Art Director and Senior Design Manager to understand the monthly marketing budget and priorities, identifying key trends and opportunities for seasonal product promotion. I would then develop compelling visual concepts, sketching out initial ideas before translating them into polished mockups for review. My strong presentation skills enabled me to effectively communicate my design vision, showcasing 4 weeks of social media and email content in advance. I actively sought feedback and iterated on my designs to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

I consistently explored new visual possibilities, experimenting with typography, color palettes, photo manipulation, GIFs, custom illustrations, and manipulating the Instagram grid to create beautiful artwork at both large and small scales. I always ensured my designs remained within the brand guidelines while also providing multiple solutions to address specific requests.
